zasavska soočenja – skupaj na volitve / zasavje debates – together to the polls

Projekt Zasavska soočenja – skupaj na volitve je regionalna kampanja za povečanje volilne udeležbe in krepitev aktivnega državljanstva v Zasavju. Skozi dve veliki javni soočenji kandidatov za poslance v volilnih okrajih Trbovlje–Hrastnik in Zagorje projekt ustvarja odprt, pluralen in demokratičen prostor za dialog med volivci in kandidati.

Kampanja nagovarja vse prebivalce regije, s posebnim poudarkom na mladih, ženskah, ranljivih skupinah in zagovornikih varstva okolja. Cilj ni le spodbuditi udeležbo na volitvah, temveč volivce opremiti z jasnimi, preverjenimi in praktičnimi informacijami o volilnem procesu ter o pomenu evropskih vrednot – demokracije, enakosti, človekovih pravic in vladavine prava.

Projekt združuje terenske dogodke, neposredno vključevanje javnosti, medijsko poročanje in močno digitalno prisotnost, s čimer zagotavlja širok doseg in dolgoročen učinek.

Ključne aktivnosti projekta

  • Organizacija dveh javnih soočenj kandidatov v regiji Zasavje, odprtih za vse prebivalce.
  • Zbiranje vprašanj občanov pred dogodkoma prek odprtega e-naslova in partnerjev projekta.
  • Neposredno zastavljanje vprašanj kandidatkam in kandidatom s strani predstavnikov mladih, okoljskih organizacij in drugih ciljnih skupin.
  • Profesionalno snemanje dogodkov (večkamerna produkcija) ter javna objava posnetkov na portalu ZON.si in YouTube kanalu.
  • Izvedba anket pred, med in po dogodkih za analizo potreb volivcev ter priprava javne objave s ključnimi ugotovitvami.
  • Objave informativno-izobraževalnih člankov o volilnem postopku (predčasno glasovanje, glasovanje iz tujine ipd.) ter ozaveščanje o evropskih vrednotah.
  • Promocijska kampanja na portalu ZON.si in družbenih omrežjih za doseganje širše, zlasti mlajše publike.

Načrtovani rezultati

Javna soočenja in neposredna participacija

  • izvedeni 2 javni soočenji kandidatov,
  • najmanj 200 udeležencev v živo,
  • najmanj 50 zbranih vprašanj občanov za kandidate,
  • najmanj 300 zbranih anketnih odzivov udeležencev.

Digitalni doseg in trajnostni učinek

  • vsaj 3.000 spletnih ogledov posnetkov soočenj,
  • najmanj 5 objavljenih informativno-izobraževalnih člankov (skupaj vsaj 10.000 bralcev),
  • promocijska kampanja z najmanj 40.000 dosegi in interakcijami v regiji,
  • pripravljena javna objava s povzetkom ugotovitev anket (“Kaj Zasavci pričakujejo od svojih predstavnikov”),
  • vzpostavljen pilotni model lokalnih volilnih soočenj za uporabo na prihodnjih volitvah.

The project Zasavje Public Debates – Together to the Polls is a regional campaign aimed at increasing voter turnout and strengthening active citizenship in the Zasavje region. Through two major public debates with candidates for Members of Parliament in the Trbovlje–Hrastnik and Zagorje electoral districts, the project creates an open, pluralistic, and democratic space for dialogue between voters and candidates.

The campaign addresses all residents of the region, with particular emphasis on young people, women, vulnerable groups, and environmental advocates. The goal is not only to encourage participation in elections, but also to equip voters with clear, verified, and practical information about the electoral process and the importance of European values – democracy, equality, human rights, and the rule of law.

The project combines field-based events, direct public engagement, media coverage, and a strong digital presence, ensuring broad outreach and long-term impact.

Key project activities

  • Organization of two public candidate debates in the Zasavje region, open to all residents.
  • Collection of citizens’ questions prior to the events through an open email address and project partners.
  • Direct questioning of candidates by representatives of youth, environmental organizations, and other target groups.
  • Professional multi-camera recording of the events and public publication of the recordings on the ZON.si portal and YouTube channel.
  • Implementation of surveys before, during, and after the events to analyse voters’ needs and preparation of a public summary of the key findings.
  • Publication of informative and educational articles about the electoral process (early voting, voting from abroad, etc.) and awareness-raising about European values.
  • Promotional campaign on the ZON.si portal and social media to reach a broader audience, especially younger people.

Expected results

Public debates and direct participation

  • 2 public candidate debates conducted,
  • at least 200 in-person participants,
  • at least 50 questions collected from citizens for the candidates,
  • at least 300 survey responses collected from participants.

Digital reach and sustainable impact

  • at least 3,000 online views of the debate recordings,
  • at least 5 informative and educational articles published (reaching at least 10,000 readers in total),
  • promotional campaign achieving at least 40,000 regional impressions and interactions,
  • preparation of a public summary of survey findings (“What Zasavje Residents Expect from Their Representatives”),
  • establishment of a pilot model for local election debates to be used in future elections.
