In 2021, public corporations and other public law entities, the data of which is processed by the Treasury and which are not budget users (including, for example, chambers and student organisations), allocated € 16,24 million to non-governmental organisations.

Remittances by public corporations mostly comprise donations, sponsorships and payments for services rendered (such as counselling, devising analyses, etc.). What is seen as public corporations are corporations that are not budget users, yet they are subject to dominant influence of the State or Municipalities, which are normally their founders. The table below shows 30 public corporations and other public law entities that are not budget users, which have remitted the highest amount of funds to non-governmental organisations, and the number of different non-governmental organisations that have been allocated these funds.

From public law entities that are not budget users, the one allocating the highest amount of funds to non-governmental organisations in 2021 was the Slovenian Student Organisation, which distributed € 3,33 million among 52 different non-governmental organisations. Among public corporations, the highest amount of funds was allocated to non-governmental organisations by Pošta Slovenije, d.o.o. (Post of Slovenia) which distributed € 2,04 million among 242 different non-governmental organisations. Third is Student Organization of University of Ljubljana, which distributed € 1,11 million among 58 different non-governmental organisations. The funds that are remitted to non-governmental organisations by public corporations mostly comprise sponsorships and donations.

A total of 2.242 non-governmental organisations were recepients of funds by public corporations which amounts to 7.87 % of all active non-governmental organisations.
